Apple have taken one step closer to their already-intense customer programs to add a whole new dimension to the way people see their gadgets. They have introduced free engravings on the back of iPads. This service allows two lines of text to be engraved on the dorsal portion of the iPad. Of course, there is a bit of doubt as to whether this will be an offer only for new purchasers or for everyone. Existing customers would love to avail this cool program.

There was some word on this engraving service some months back. But it seemed that the demand for iPads was too high to actually take it through another layer in the supply chain.
