Apple files patent for iMac’s swiveling touchscreen

apple_iMac_swiveling_touchscreen_patent.jpg It seems that Apple have taken a lot of pride in the release of the brilliant new iMac. The touchscreen wonder with a swiveling screen that has been shielded from our ‘unworthy’ eyes has made it to the patent directories and will quite effectively reduce the need for competition like the other products of the company. The all-in-one touchscreen device will sense when it has been moved from a tablet position to switch its alignment accordingly. This is made possible with the in-built accelerometer that does the trick.

There’s no telling as to whether the OS itself would switch from Mac OS to iOS. There’s also nothing that states whether we’d see simultaneous operability of both operating systems.
