Apple has been in the news for all the right reasons lately and the impressive show it put up yesterday was a proof of it. After all this, the latest rumor doing the rounds is the Apple is planning to team up with Verizon to introduce the Internet tablet, which will be subsidized by Verizon. This Internet tablet could be like a giant iPod Touch complete with a keyboard and other awesome features to compete with the Kindle and Barnes & Noble’s newly announced reader. We just hop that this device doesn’t flop like the Newton.

The authenticity of this rumor is also in question since it was started by Jim Cramer, who in the past has spread rumors about Apple just to manipulate its stock. We are just waiting for an official word from Apple before we set all excited about this Internet tablet.
