Apollon introduces social-photography camera
Band managers, and at times members, have been known to chase down photographers to get their hands on pictures taken of them. Dutch product designer Gordon Tiemstra, recognizing the difficulties of concert photography and the like, has come up with an interesting social-photography camera that hooks on to others of its type via a wireless network. Called the Apollon, these enable multiple users to share images by synching their cameras. Also, these cameras cater to panorama shots, with a special application available that stitches the pictures together. Shaped like a grenade, pulling this one out of your bag in a public place however might cause shocked looks, screams and the consecutive sound of people scrambling away.
