And finally, an XP phone, from China!
We’ve been keeping a close watch on all those MIDs phones with XP that are aimed our way, waiting for the manufacturers to pull the damn trigger but it doesn’t seem to happen. However, we need to wait no more. This phone from China claims to be the first, real XP phone and trust me; it’s something to look forward to. If you want a real teaser then here’s a list of a few: 120 GB hard disk space, slide out QWERTY keyboard, a whopping 7 hours battery life (that can supposedly be extended to 12 hours), a chip that’s customized by Advanced Micro Devices and finally, a 4.8 inch LCD screen that supports resolutions of 800 by 480. You may now wonder if the litany thus recited is all that the phone has. Not! It also has support for Wi-Fi, WiMax, GPS and of course, Windows XP as the primary platform.
Prima Facie the phone appears to be quite a good with some sleek inbuilt buttons on the main body and distinct ones on the QWERTY. Pricing, name, anyone.
