Silicon Mountain Holdings, Inc. has announced the release of Allio LCD HDTV-PC product line. The Allio Lite extends the product line by integrating an Intel Atom-based computer and DVD-CD player/writer to deliver a simple, low-cost converged multimedia experience that brings a whole new generation in HD TV and Internet entertainment to the living room! Instead of packing in an Intel Core2 Duo, massive hard drive space and 4GB of RAM, the Allio Lite uses a 1.6 GHz Intel dual-core Atom 330 CPU with hyper-threading, 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive.

The Allio Lite will be available at $1600 for the 42-inch and $1300 for the 32-inch.
