Alienware Aurora 7500 and ALX first to offer AMD Live

Alienware is the first to offer AMD LIVE! branded Aurora 7500 and Aurora ALX desktop systems. AMD Live is set to rival Intel's ViiV entertainment platform. As part of the AMD LIVE! experience, Aurora 7500 and Aurora ALX systems come equipped with AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processors and Media Center Edition OS. With LIVE users stream music and video to their TV and mobile devices, transfer TV shows and movies to their notebooks or PDAs, and quickly sync their media files with handheld devices for entertainment on the go. In addition to this Aurora 7500, Area-51 7500, and ALX desktop systems will feature the next generation Blu-Ray storage technology.


The Aurora 7500 starts at $2200, all the way above $6000 with Aurora DLX and Quad SLI and the Aurora ALX will be for around $4,300.
