Alcatel launches three new Value range of phones

Alcatel.JPG Alcatel seem to be on a launching spree, it has unveiled a range of new mobile phones for 2009. The line features three distinct categories of phones, as well as a single branded phone. The three categories are called Value Entry, Value Camera, and Value Mobile Internet Device; encompass specific features such as fun colors and built-in cameras. First is the Value Entry category consists of the OT-102, OT-103, OT-111, OT-202, and OT-203 models. All of the Value Entry models are candybar cell phones, which will be offered in a multitude of fun colors and patterns. The OT-111 and OT-203 both feature monochrome displays, while the other three models in the group sport fancy color displays.


The second of the Value series is the Value Camera group, which is made up of the OT-303, OT-363, OT-383, OT-600, OT-660, and OT-707 models. The OT-303 and OT-600 models are both candybar cell phones, while the OT-383 is the lone slider in the Value Camera category. Both the OT-363 and OT-660 are clamshell cell phones, and the OT-707 is a music-centric touchscreen cell phone. All are available in a variety of color schemes, as well.
The Value Mobile Internet Device group consists of two USB modems, the One Touch X060 and One Touch X200, while the OT-767 is a clamshell. The OT-770 is a standard candybar cell phone with a numeric keypad, but the OT-800 is a candybar with a QWERTY keyboard, for convenient text input. The Mandarina Duck is a branded, fashion-oriented clamshell that rests in a category all its own.
