Acer had dropped in the MP-340, a multi-functional disk-based PMP. The player throws down an stylish exterion, and comes with a 1.8" TFT display. It has a high-quality voice recorder and support for MP3 and WMA. It ships with a .8" 20GB non-removable hard drive and is suitable for listening to music as well as carrying it to your meetings for recording. With a hi-speed USB 2.0 connection, copying music will be a mere “drag-n-drop” procedure. The player is also equipped with a picture viewer which can handle JPEG files. Moreover the player has SD/MMC, in case the 20 gigs on-board memory proves to scarce for you. The MP-340 weighs 148 grams and has a size of 95 x 65 x 20.6 mm.

The player wins extra points for its built-in goodies like Sudoku, an ebook reader and a couple of other games. No word on pricing or availability yet.
