Oddly named Link Zabady media player allows you to watch videos in the bath, or underwater
It’s always great finding out there’s yet another new AV product designed for the bathroom. This one’s from a company called Twinbird and they’ve got a new waterproof video system for the bath that can, if absolutely necessary, be submerged under 1 meter of water for half an hour. Not that you’d want to watch videos under water but at least you know you can if you really wanted to. The name of this bathroom video watcher (that sounded a bit perverted I know) is the Link Zabady. The set up includes a 7-inch display that sports an 800 x 480 pixel resolution. It comes equipped with an SD card slot that you can play media off of and stereo speakers built-in. The battery life can apparently offer up to 3.5 hours of non-stop video playback. I know the Japanese like to take baths, but 3.5 hours could be a little too much. Link Zabady is priced at about 60,000 Yen which translates to about $703 (US).
