Honeywell, better known for top-secret government contracts, will be soon selling its mammoth 82-inch 1080p LCD in the US this year. It is licensing its All-American name to the Taiwan-based Soyo who will be producing the TV set weighing 300 pounds. The TV has 120Hz motion-blur reduction, 3HDMI inputs and a stated dynamic contrast ratio of 120,000:1. It has very long model number - MT-HWGWT8218AM. Price and availability are yet to be announced.

Normally 82" LCD TVs would cost a fortune but since its being made by a Tier 2 Taiwanese company, the prices could be a little lower than expected. So if there are buyers, then make sure you make your living room bigger because this LCD TV comes in dimensions – 52 inches high, 79 inches wide and 17 inches thick!
