4th Generation iPhone panel may look like this

iPhone_4g_panel.jpg iPhone repair site iResQ believes that it has received a cool front panel of what may well be, the front panel of the 4th generation iPhone. The store revealed three images that are supposed to bear witness to this holy truth. From the images we can deduce that the LCD seems to be glued to the digitizer which resembles the gen-1 iPhones. The panel in question here also seems to be slightly longer than the original ones. A reflective sensor decks the area near the speaker. No idea as to what exactly it may be for though.

Now the tricky part is that since the screen is glued to the digitizer, repairing it may be a bit of a pain in the pocket since it doesn’t detach like the 3G and 3G S and has to be replaced with the rest of the phone should the need arise.
