Firstly we need to know what 3M’s 3D displays are all about. Basically, these are developed using a technology that makes it possible to have 3D displays on LCD panels. The film on the display consists of lenses on one side of the display and prism structures on the other, so as to create a 3D effect without wearing glasses! 3M displayed 9 inch and 2.8 inch LCDs at FDP International this year. We can see a bright future of this technology in the near future with such displays going on mass production. May be users could get themselves a 3D PMP!
