120 PC graphic cards for running military F-16 simulator

military_F-16_simulator.jpg Welcome to the world of HD. This is really an amazing ultra-high definition, and I mean ultra, military F-16 simulation running on 120 Intel Duo Core PCs with graphic cards costing $400. These cards are in a special casing. L-3 Link claims this simulator gives you 20-40 visual acuity; in short it is so real that you will be fooling your eye. 20-20 is the perfect visual acuity which however is not possible with the current projection technology.

The simulators run on Simusphere which is a 180 degree field display using nine projectors and 120 networked Intel Duo Core personal computers with the next generation graphic cards. This combination however gives the most complex and accurate flight simulation, with high-definition environments, actual destruction and explosions and also upto 10,000 simultaneous entities on screen in urban environments. Well however complex, I would love to get one and make my living room a virtual battlefield.
