The above video is of WATG's Wimberly Labs' EON Reality's immersive 3D room. The cave(iCube) is comprised of three white walls and a floor, all about 10 x 10 in size. Onto each surface is projected a high-resolution, stereoscopic image. A viewer stands in the room wearing polarized 3D glasses - like you might use in a 3D movie - with small markers that stick out a bit from the frames. The markers are illuminated by IR LED floodlights...
Ever sat at the local bar meditating on the slice of lime that swims in your gin? Well, it isn’t a crime to stab it occasionally with that beautifully crafted stirrer. You ponder as that silly piece of lime that stubbornly moves up to the surface and you relate with it, wondering how it feels… to be pressed down, deeper into the liquor. Well, here’s the answer. This cool bar which has a capacity of 40 people offers you...
This can well be the cellphone of the future and hell yeah! The future’s looking a lot better than it did when we stared blankly at all those silly concept phones that were never to be. Since the phone’s an OLED all over, it can be used as a convertible, i.e. the phone can be folded, just like a wallet to either reveal the keypad or to unfold into a screen. This makes it flexible enough to fit in...
If you own a MAC, and do not have any suicidal tendencies, then make sure that you do not download Apple’s iWork 09 from any bit torrent client. It is come to be known that the torrent has been infected with the first ever MAC OS X botnet! This was detected by the guys at Symantec and I can bet you all my money they must’ve cried Eureka (read: you wrecker)! A copy of this deadly bot was also...
Some brilliant brains in the SOSCO (S60 on Symbian Customer Operations) team have managed to do something really interesting. They have successfully used GCC to get the ever loved Symbian S60 operating system up and running on an Intel Atom motherboard! This will surely create a stir since S60 applications are many-a-time better than their PC counterparts. For instance, famous application like Mig33 and FlyCam have always been on the phones of those who have tried using them once....
Now, that the title caught your attention, here’s some clarification. That very tall claim was made by the company itself and I dare disagree with it. This mouse looks rather intriguing with a color LCD display and a stunning one-touch 32 view access! The mouse is equipped with an new and improved navigation for MCAD. A welcome addition to the phone is the presence of five new dual-function navigation keys. Along with all the great features the SpacePilot also...
Here we go, another Sidekick rumor? Not really. This one’s from the desk of a T-Mobile biggie. Yes! It’s for real; an internal memo giving some vital information on the newest Sidekick to hit us. This one’s labeled as the Sidekick LX. It will be loaded with a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, a fully covered QWERTY and a stunning swivel screen (that quite confidently claims to be sharper than any of its predecessors). What’s more is that the Sidekick...

Not every thing green sells on our blue Earth! At least that is case of the China made EV BYD F3DM. Touted to be a Volt copy, the F3DM was also seen as a threat to other US made electric cars. More so because the company makes its own proprietary LiFePO4 battery and can currently sell the car for a US equivalent of $22,000. Now that too much money when converted in to Chinese currency. Also the lack of...
White Mountain datacenter in downtown Stockholm is located in a bunker 30 meters under solid bedrock. The cold war bunker converted into a data center can withstand a hydrogen bomb blast and keep your data secure in case of an nuclear holocaust. In case of a power outage two diesel engines from German submarines will provide redundant power. (Thanks Will)...

The Nintendo Wii has its uses. Besides keeping critics busy, it has also recently served the purpose of helping in the diagnoses of brain problems among soldiers who have undergone any kind of physical trauma while on the battle field. Around 400 soldiers of the 101st Airbone Division have been put through this testing procedure at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Various tests including a driving test, an alphabetical recognition test and a motion sensitive test have been performed to check...
This explains how stupid our culture is as we are more interested to know what Ashton Kutcher is upto than whats happening around the world. CNN had recently purchased the account CNNBRK on Twitter for an undisclosed amount from a 25 year old Brit who had been maintaining it since mid 2007. [CNN on Twitter]...
